Regular screen mirroring: Requires an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or newer) and macOS 14 or later. Intel Macs are not supported by this download.

AI 3D depth minimum: Base M4 performance, or equivalent or better performance on a compatible Apple silicon Mac. AI depth is generated on your Mac, not your Quest headset. Regular mirroring does not require M4-level performance.

What happens after five days?

The trial stops. To continue, install the Mac App Store version and choose a monthly or yearly subscription there. An Apple account is required for that step.

This website version cannot purchase or restore Apple subscriptions. There is no automatic charge, and reinstalling it does not restart the trial. If you already subscribe, use the Mac App Store version.

Connect to Quest

  1. After downloading, unzip the file and move 3D Screen Mirroring to Applications.
  2. Open the Mac app and allow screen and audio capture when requested.
  3. Choose Wi-Fi mode and connect your Mac and Quest to the same trusted local network.
  4. In Quest, select “I have the Mac app,” enter the address shown on your Mac, and select Connect.
  5. Approve the pairing code on your Mac, then start sharing.

Wi-Fi does not require developer mode or a USB tunnel. The Quest app also has an offline demo that needs no Mac or account.
